This Is FreeFlaux

FreeFlaux is a conceptual typeface sculpted from free-flowing organic shapes. Each character’s irregular form is reminiscent of a blend between Henri Matisse’s paper cut-outs and graffiti’s bubbly throw-up letters. It creates exciting, imaginative pieces in color, or bold, dynamic statements in black and white. FreeFlaux gives visual meaning to words, transcending their sheer utility.
It offers over 160 glyphs, including a lowercase alphabet, select Latin diacritics, several stylistic alternates and ligatures, and standard numerals, punctuation, and symbols.
FreeFlaux is defining the future of type—where traditional typography melds with individual expression.

Type Specimen Booklet

FreeFlaux’s take on the classic type specimen is appropriately titled Faux Specimen. Its pages are brightly colored and filled seemingly at random with letters and text which contain nonsense and abstract imagery. One might describe it as a visual cacophony; or simply confusion.
And not to worry: The standard fare of spreads displaying the alphabet and glyphs as confetti are included as well.
